This mother is gazing with deep affection at her newborn while she is turning her back to the wind (the future?) to protect the baby all while she is striding boldly with the wind (into the future?) It is intended to go outdoors. And it can be cast in bronze upon request. Later pictures show it displayed in Mankato Minnesota
