Rising Up is a one-of-a-kind piece. It emerged from a very intentional experimentation with the folding and bending of wax sheets. Most ended in complete failure, but, this one emerge as intended, creating a flowing dress of a woman jumping in the air. Separate folded wax legs and arms, head and flowing hair were added.
